Lombardy (in italian “Lombardia”) is one of the 20 Regions of Italy.
Located in the north-central zone of the country, on the Swiss border, it’s especially worldwide known for its beautiful lakes.

One-sixth of Italy’s population lives in Lombardy and about one-fi fth of Italy’s GDP is in the region, whose bustling
capital - Milan - is the business center of Italy and one of the fashion capitals of the world. Moreover, Lombardy in
Italy is the most advanced and important center for the industry, finance, commerce, transport, culture, clothing and agriculture.

Besides Milan, other smaller and historic but thriving municipalities abound in the region, framed with beautiful scenery that changes dramatically from majestic and breathtaking in the north of plains of the south.
Vine growing and wine making are the two of the major features of Lombardy’s best traditions. It’s considered to be like a beautiful painting, full of bright colors, just like the wide variety of high quality wines produced in different territories of the region, in which each of them have their own characters and peculiarities.
